Livingston Hospital Receives 4-Star Rating from CMS
SALEM, KY – Livingston Hospital has been awarded a 4-star rating from the The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) for its outstanding quality and patient care.
CMS, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, awarded 4-star ratings to only 953 hospitals of the more than 3,200 eligible Medicare-certified hospitals. The hospital star ratings are based on 52 quality measures across five different categories.

CMS overall star ratings assigned to hospitals are based on 52 quality measures across five different categories: mortality, safety of care, readmission, patient experience, timely and effective care.
